Juice boxes are easy, but they are not exactly a highlight. If you are searching for kids birthday party drink ideas, you probably want something the kids will love, the parents will drink too, and you will not have to manage all afternoon.

Here are ideas that work for families across Dallas Fort Worth, and why a lemonade cart is one of our favorites.

## Kids birthday party drink ideas that work for everyone

### Fresh lemonade

Kids know it, parents like it, and it pairs with almost any theme. Fresh squeezed lemonade made in front of the kids adds a little show to the party.

### Fruit infused water

Water with sliced fruit is simple and looks nice. It is a good second option next to something sweeter.

### Themed drinks

Match a drink color to the party theme. Pink for a princess party, bright yellow for a sunshine theme, red for a superhero party.

## Why a lemonade cart works for kids parties

### It is an activity

Kids love watching the lemons get squeezed and the drink get shaken. It gives them something to look at while they wait.

### Parents drink it too

A lemonade cart is not just for the kids. Adults appreciate a cold drink, especially at outdoor parties in the Texas heat.

### It runs without you

We arrive with the stand, fruit, ice, cups and signs, serve every guest, and tidy up when the party winds down. You can focus on cake, presents and photos. See our full service lemonade catering (https://boobooslemonade.com/services) for the details.

## Flavor picks for kids

Strawberry is the flavor kids ask for by name. Pair it with the classic and you have covered almost everyone. Watermelon is a good third choice on a hot day.

We suggest two or three flavors. Kids decide fast when the choices are simple.

## Questions parents ask

### What about artificial colors?

Some of our flavors carry added colors, including some dyes parents ask about. We can answer flavor by flavor. The plain classic lemonade is the simplest option for kids with dye concerns.

### What about allergies?

If pina colada is on the menu, note that it contains coconut, so we would leave it off for a kids party with tree nut concerns. Our post on the dietary questions event planners actually ask (https://boobooslemonade.com/blog/dietary-questions-event-planners-ask) covers more.

### What cup sizes do you have?

Our made to order lemonade comes in thirty two ounce cups, and sixteen ounce cups are available too, which many parents choose for little ones.

## Picking a setup style

A classic lemonade stand look fits most kids parties. Our Nostalgic Lemonade Stand has a fun, old school feel, and our vintage cart Billie Jean makes a great photo backdrop. Compare them on our lemonade stands page (https://boobooslemonade.com/lemonade-stands).

## Party planning tips

- **Shade first.** Outdoor parties in DFW get hot. Put the drink station in shade.
- **Keep it near the action.** Kids will not wander far for a drink.
- **Add a sign.** A custom drink named after the birthday kid is a fun touch.

## Next step

Request a quote (https://boobooslemonade.com/quote) with your party date, address and number of kids and adults.

## Make the birthday kid the star

A few small touches make the drink station feel like part of the party. Put the birthday kid's name on the sign, let them pick one of the flavors, and take a photo of them getting the first cup. Those little moments end up being the ones parents remember.

## FAQ
