Lemonade feels like an outdoor drink, but plenty of our events happen indoors: ballrooms, office lobbies, event halls and homes. A lemonade station at an indoor event works well with a little planning. Here is what changes when you move inside, and what stays the same.

Moving indoors changes nothing about what we bring: the stand, fresh fruit, ice, cups and our signs, plus a team to serve and clean up afterward.

## What changes indoors

### Space and placement

Indoor rooms have walls, doors and set walkways. Put the station somewhere visible but out of the main path between the entrance, the dance floor and the restrooms. A station that blocks a doorway creates a line that cuts across the room.

### Load in and access

Indoors, the route from the truck to the station matters. Ask your venue about loading areas, elevators, stairs and door widths. Learning about stairs ahead of time beats discovering them on event day.

### Floors

Venues care about their floors. We set up neatly and clean up fully, and we will follow any floor protection rules your venue has.

### Power and water

Ask whether there is an outlet and water access near the station, and whether vendors may use them. We will confirm what your setup needs during planning.

### Venue rules

Some venues have outside vendor policies or paperwork requirements. Check with your coordinator early.

Outdoors, the big issues are heat, sun and surface. We bring yellow umbrellas for hot, sunny outdoor events, and our trailer is self contained for large outdoor sites. Indoors, climate control does that work for you, so the focus shifts to space and access.

- **Near, not in, the action.** Close enough to see, far enough not to block.
